The story of a home schooled girl, with a very controlling mum, escaping her over protective house and running off to live with her dad and his much younger boyfriend.
Okay, not going to lie, this film was a bit boring at times, but, it had a cute story to it and was funny and sweet and her gay dad's partner was just perfect which completely made up for it! Plus, I love Ashley Rickards in Awkward and think she's a great actress so she was really good in this film as well.
